Address- and jurisdiction-level only — this is NOT name-based screening and NOT a complete OFAC SDN check. Absence of a match is not a sanctions clearance; use as one informational input alongside your own compliance process.

Honest Scope Guarantee

Screens EVM addresses and jurisdictions against a curated local snapshot of sanctioned addresses (refreshed daily by cron) and a prohibited-jurisdiction list. Address- and jurisdiction-level only: most SDN entries are not EVM addresses, so a clean result is scope-limited screening, never an OFAC clearance, and null means the input was out of scope.

No API key needed for the free daily tier. When daily quota exhausts, the endpoint replies with HTTP 402 Payment Required specifying the exact USDC amount. Machines sign an EIP-3009 transfer on Base L2; human engineers buy card credits. Every paid execution returns a cryptographically signed XDR-1 receipt for zero-knowledge audit trails.

Response Format

Deterministic JSON payload fields: tool, valid, is_sanctioned, match_type, subject, sanction_program, reason, scope. Paid responses also carry an offline-verifiable receipt object (XDR-1, secp256k1 signature recoverable to the authorized signer).
